WHAT IS NATUROPATHIC NUTRITION?
Simply put, it’s using food as a treatment. Our bodies and minds thrive when we give them what they need – and those needs are unique to each person.
Naturopathic Nutrition focuses on you, and creating a nutrient-rich food plan that gives your body and mind what they need to be healthy and thrive.

If you’re eating foods that don’t benefit your body, you’ll feel the effects in so many ways. Some of them you may not even associate with diet. We’ll work together to create a food plan that is tailored to you, that you can integrate easily with your lifestyle. Your new food plan will soon become just the way you eat, and the benefits you see will be sustainable in the long term.

I regularly deliver group programmes for women who’d like to share their path to wellbeing with others, rather than taking a bespoke personal service. I also deliver talks and focused presentations on a variety of themes, virtually and in person, and often in partnership with other natural healing practitioners.

Why work with a Nutritionist?
I can help you to wade through the information online and in books, and all the conflicting advice that is out there. I use my experience and knowledge of what works to formulate a personalised, achievable plan. I offer accountability and advice to support you to achieve your nutrition and health goals.
What happens in a session?
Before the session you will have completed a detailed health questionnaire and kept a food diary. This gives me the basis for our consultation. Everything is said in confidence, and I offer a non-judgemental approach. My aim is to establish your starting point and to discover the best way to help you to achieve your goals.
I will spend about an hour asking questions such as what do you eat, what are your dietary restrictions, do you cook or who cooks? Are there time/budget restrictions? What is your lifestyle like? What have you tried before? Did it work? What got in the way?
I will ascertain your current levels of activity and your available time. What do you do to relax?
After the Session?
I will go through my notes and prioritise 3 areas to focus on in your plan of action. Firstly, looking at whatever your main issues were, then there may be other underlying things. For example, period problems could be linked to stress or a poor diet. We would need to address that to help with the period issues.
Then, I'll make a plan that is manageable and achievable. It may seem daunting at first but even small
steps make a huge difference. Usually, we'll review the plan after 4-6 weeks, but you may need a check in or an earlier follow up call. Any information that you share will help me to fit the plan to you.
How long will it take to see results?
Quick fixes never last, the problem is being masked to re-appear at a later date.
Usually, people will see results after the first month but it takes at least 3 months to see more sustainable results. If there are underlying health issues, you may need support for around 6 months.

WHAT IS HOMEOPATHY?
This practice helps the body to heal itself, supported by remedies made from plant, animal and mineral sources. Homeopathy looks at you as a whole person, not just a collection of symptoms or disease labels, and respects the interconnections of everything about you. Treatment plans are then tailored to your unique needs and circumstances.
HOW DOES HOMEOPATHY WORK?
Homeopathy is a holistic treatment built on trust and respect between the homeopath and client. In a safe and supportive environment, I will ask you to share as much information as you can about your health and lifestyle. That way I can decide which remedies match you best, and will result in the greatest benefits.
The time it takes for you to heal will vary, but it isn't usually a quick fix – and sometimes, previous symptoms may reoccur during treatment. This is a good sign that a deeper healing is taking place: it’s referred to as the 'law of cure'.
IS HOMEOPATHY SAFE?
The treatment I recommend for you will be completely safe. All remedies are derived from natural sources and are highly diluted.
Homeopathy can be used safely alongside conventional medicine, but it’s important that you tell me about any ongoing medical treatments you’re having, or other supplements or medicines you’re taking.
